Dr. François Désinor was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and moved to Long Island, NY at the age of 18. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queens College City University of New York, Dr. Francois obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in 2016. Dr. François further expanded his education through a residency program and obtained an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. In Summer of 2021, Dr. Francois attended the world-renowned Dr. Wehrle Implant Immersion course for 5 days in Puebla, Mexico, where he completed a 45 hours of both didactic and hands-on clinical continuing education in implant dentistry.

Dr. François Désinor is well versed and trained in pain and anxiety control, restorative dentistry, root canals, placing and restoring dental implants, fixed and removable prosthodontics, orthodontics (invisalign certified provider), dental extractions, and emergency dental care. Dr. François Désinor believes that dentistry is about growth, having compassion and proper understanding of people’s concerns, in order to create a comfortable environment where the most efficient dental care is rendered.

Outside of the clinic, You can always find Dr. François biking around the nation’s capital as he calls it “his therapy”. Traveling, frequenting various restaurants, sports and hiking are among his favorite hobbies. He is also a good soccer and tennis player, should the occasional challenge arise!
